This was my first fishing trip of the year and since half of the lake at Island Lake was open for the ice fishing season I decided to fish here. The weather was nice and mildly cold and the fishing was great.
I had one rod set up with a minnow and the other lighter setup for panfish. The Sunfish were on fire. I was getting plenty of bites and they were nice size too. I got a couple of small Pikes and I even got 2 nice Crappies on minnows. Fun day.
